Grounding and Growing

I am continuously grounded by the interconnectedness with earth and all animals.

My practice is ever-changing with life’s adventures and lessons.

The above prayer is a daily ritual for me and Ruthie that we share.

Come Explore With Me!

Honoring the balance and alignment of everyday living is a choice.

Below are brief descriptions of offerings and information on how we can work together.

Yoga & Movement & Meditation

Yoga has helped me discover what it truly means to connect in a compassionate way  with myself and others. After earning a B.S. in Therapeutic Recreation, I dove in headfirst to study many different areas of yoga. My yoga practice is an intuitive process constantly inspired by the animals, travels, and cultures that I have been honored to experience. Kripalu Yoga was my start on the yogic path to deepening my understanding of the mind, body, and soul. The Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction course, by Jon Kabat-Zinn showed me an approach that helps one cultivate mindfulness within oneself and among society.    Another person who made an impact on me was Paulie Zink, the founder of Yin Yoga. His animalistic yoga style grounds the body, helps with fluidity, and focuses on the present moment. By infusing various practices, I’ve come to develop my own unique yoga style. Toni Bergins brought Journey Dance to me that really brings movement focused to get out of the mind and feel from the body, heart and soul. Very transformational!

Reflexology

Reflexology is a wonderful compliment to other healing practices. Feet are our connection to Mother Earth and our grounding foundation of the body. Caring for them daily will provide valuable benefits to support the balance of this amazing vehicle we travel around in throughout our lives. Reflexology is the practice of applying pressure to reflex points in the foot, hand, or ears. These points correspond to different internal organs and systems. Eastern philosophy believes this is a way to bring the body into homeostasis.

Anti-Gravity Yoga in Silks

Flying and inverting while being hugged and supported by the silks is a total delight! It reminds me of orangutans hanging in trees. I offer a gentle and restorative practice. Inversions are a beautiful way to allow the spine to decompress from the effects of gravity.   I’d love to connect with you! Private sessions are available for all services.
